After the second world war, Britain's housing stock was in a dire state. Between 1945 and 1951 over 150000 prefabricated homes were constructed. These were intended to be temporary although some remain today. There were a variety of designs produced. The PFP kit represnts the Uni Seco model that had a corner porch as an entrance. The kit will build two buildings.
A large estate of these was built in Catford, South London, although many have been replaced with new build properties.
The model is approximately 5,2" x 3.5".
